Heartleaf, eosungcho, is a Korean hedgerow plant used in tea and folk remedies long before it appeared in a jar, and here it does the calming half of the job while the niacinamide does the tone half. The gel texture is the reason it works as a mask you can leave on: it does not set or crack, so the essence stays available to the skin the whole time.

How to use. Apply a generous even layer to clean skin and leave for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water or press in what remains and continue with your routine. Once or twice a week, in the evening.
