Enzyme exfoliation is the gentler Korean route: instead of dissolving the bonds between cells with a strong acid, it loosens surface keratin more slowly, which is why the pad can be sold in a ninety-count jar as a repeatable step rather than a weekly event.

How to use. After cleansing, sweep one pad over the face using a single pass per zone, never scrubbing back and forth. Leave it a minute, then follow with the rest of the routine on damp skin. Two or three times a week, not daily. Wear sunscreen on the days you use it.
