A 100 ml sherbet-textured balm that goes through three states on the face: solid balm, then oil as it warms, then a milk when you add water. The sherbet format exists because a solid balm in a jar needs no preservative-heavy water phase and travels without leaking, and Korean users like it for the same reason they like oil cleansers, it takes sunscreen off properly. Formulated slightly acidic so skin is not left tight after rinsing.
Who it's for. All skin types, especially anyone wearing waterproof makeup or daily sunscreen. First step of a double cleanse.
How to use. Scoop with the spatula, warm between dry fingers, and massage over a dry face for 30 to 60 seconds. Add water and keep massaging until it turns milky, then rinse with lukewarm water and follow with a water-based cleanser. Evening only.
Key active. A blend of nourishing oils in a sub-acidic base. The oils dissolve makeup and sunscreen, the acidic pH means the skin's surface is not pushed alkaline the way a harsh wash would. Beauty of Joseon does not publish the concentrations, and we are not going to invent them.
